How quick can I get a bin?

When planning a bin this should be done as early as possible so that we can make sure there is one in the yard to give you. Things to keep in mind are during holiday periods, warmer months and public holidays we are quite busy so at least a few days notice is great. Depending on availibilty and workload, same day service is sometimes available. Also load a go cleanups require less notice as the skip isn’t left onsite.

How much access does the truck require?

Our truck is approximately 7m in length and with mirrors 3m wide and 2.9m tall. The loader when unloading can reach heights of 4m. They are unloaded from the rear of the truck and doors when fitted to are also at the rear.

Duration of hire?

We tend to have short durations of up to 4 days or less. We can do same day drop off/ pick up if organised at time of booking. If it is a load and go then we will help load bin if it isnt being loaded by machine and take it away once completed. Waste removal services involve dropping bin, filling material and removing to your waste from site.

What can be placed in skip?

Apon booking please know the materials you are wanting to have removed as this effects the cost and recycleabilty of materials. Check our page of services for accepted materials in bins. We do not accept any form of asbestos, chemicals or contaminated materials.

However we do accept car batteries, empty gas cylinders, tree roots, palm material.

How high can we fill it?

The skip must not be filled above the sides of the bin. Although we cover the waste with a tarp, material above the sides can always fall or be blown out which could end up causing damage to people or property. Vicroads, the Police and the EPA are always on the look out for unsecure loads so please only fill to height of the sides. Overloaded bins will need to be rectified by the customer prior to pick up.

Weight limits?

We don’t apply weight limits to our waste as our service takes this into account when deciding on material weights and truck weights for onroad safety.If a change has accoured after booking please advise us as it may still be able to be taken but may need to be placed on the top of the other waste. When deciding which size to hire, take the time to think about the weight of the truck and the weight of the material being placed on the property and the surface it is being placed on.

Permits for placement on council land?

Currently we do not place them on council land but this will change. If this is required we recommend that your material is prepared and placed near the driveway ready for a quick pickup by us. The material is loaded and removed straight away.

Payment options?

We offer payments in the form of eftpos, credit card, (which we add 1.4% to cover provider charge), cash, or accounts for regular customers.Payments generally are made when it is dropped amd can be made over the phone.

What if there is waste you do not accept?

Currently there are some waste streams we do not accept. However we have a really close relationship with Bedrock Bin HIre. Arun provides excellent service and pricing and has the ability to process different materials to us. We are happy to help faciltate those discussions on your behalf. Two companies working together to make a difference.
